- Check tire pressure and lug nut torque.
- Test strobes, arrow board, brake, turn and marker lights.
- Confirm coupler is latched, chains crossed and breakaway cable attached.
- Secure gates, cones and signs; latch the rear gate.
- Raise the tongue jack and stabilizers.
